Collected each Monday and Friday
as well as on the second and fourth

･ paper diapers (fecies need to be removed)
･ scraps of paper that cannot be recycled
･ shells
･ twigs and any other garden waste do not need to be put into
the red bag (please make sure the wood is cut into a length of
about 50cm and has dried before you put it out)
･ please use the designated red bag , and write your name into
the box that says  .
･ if possible make sure that the kitchen garbage has already
been turned into compost before throwing it away

(do not need to be put into the blue bag,please bind the light
tubes together if possible)
･ Meat and fish usually come on a little plastic tray - your
supermarket should have a recycling box for those.
･ when you go shopping, take your own bag with you to avoid
producing more garbage.
･ Please use the designated blue bag , and write your name
intothe box that says .

Please refrain from throwing away things bigger than 30cm.
･ Please make sure to wrap glass waste in paper before
throwing it away.
･ Please make sure to wrap kitchen knives and razors in
newspaper before throwing them away.

･ Please punch a hole in used spray cans before throwing them

･ Please put the bottles vertically in the three designated
containers:clear(blue container),brown (brown container) and
other colours (greencontainer) in then.
･ Please only put out glasses that contained food or drink.
Do not put out any silex, ceramics,milky glasses(opaline),light
bulbs, glass sheets and no jars/glasses that used to contain
cosmetics or medicine. these are all unburnable garbage!
･ Please take off the cap and wash the bottle.

･How to make a reservation for oversized garbage
(this includes things bigger than 30cm and smaller than 3m)
･ Days to make a reservation to have oversized garbage collected are designated
. Please have a look
in the Moriya Garbage Collection Calendar or the Kouhou City Newsletter.
･ Call 0297-45-5339 or come directly to Moriya City Hall , Civil Affairs
and Environment Division to
make a reservation. We are open weekdays from 8.30am to 5pm.
･ You can ask for two to eight items to be collected at any one day.
･How the garbage is collected:
･ Put out the garbage on a visible place in front of your house before 8am
and mark each item with
粗大ごみ(Sodai gomi) and write your name on it as well . Do Not put out the oversized garbage at the
spot your other garbage is usually collected.
･Be careful
･ Remove the kerosine and the ignition dry cell battery from stoves.
･ Remove oil , gasoline and battery from motor bicycles.
･ if possible return electric appliances to the store.
･ Since we get many reservations at the end of the year , the collection
day for oversized garbage
might change.

Kominkan , the Bunka Kaikan,the Nakamachi Administration
Service Center,Goshu Kominkan,Koya Kominkan,Kita-Moriya
Kominkan , Central Library and each Branch of the Agricultural Cooperative.
･ Please take button type lithium batteries back to the shop.

･ car parts (such as batteries , bumpers , scarves , doors ,
