新型コロナウイルス感染症に関する市長メッセージ（令和3年7月27日掲載）

こんにちは、市長の松丸修久でございます。

市民の皆さまには、新型コロナウイルス対策にご協力いただき、心より感謝申し上げます。また、医療機関の皆さまには、新型コロナウイルスワクチン接種につきまして、多大なるご協力を賜り厚く御礼申し上げます。

政府は、東京都に4度目となる緊急事態宣言を発令し、埼玉県や千葉県、神奈川県には、まん延防止等重点措置が適用されております。特に、東京都では新規感染者数が増加し続け、感染が再拡大しており、感染力の強い変異株の広がりが懸念されております。

茨城県においても、直近1週間の平均では、1日当たりの新規感染者数が66.7人となり、県の独自指標でも、4段階のうち2番目に深刻なステージ3に悪化しています。

1都3県と往来が多い県南地域での感染が急増しており、守谷市においても、4連休中の新規感染者数の合計は17人となり、10代、20代が感染する割合が高まっております。

市では、令和3年7月31日（土曜）から受験や就職活動などを控える、15歳及び18歳の市民のかたを対象に、新型コロナワクチン接種券を先行して配布するとともに、現在、市内の医療機関で接種を行う「個別接種」に加え、令和3年8月1日（日曜）からは、迅速かつ効率的なワクチン接種を目的に、保健センターを会場にした「集団接種」の準備も進めております。

市民の皆さまの安全を最優先に、一日でも早く、全ての皆さまのワクチン接種が行えるよう、全力で取り組んでまいります。

市民の皆さまには、引き続き、基本的な感染防止対策の徹底と体調管理にご注意をお願いするとともに、「自分を守る、家族を守る、大切な人を守る、社会を守るための行動」に、ご理解とご協力をいただきますよう、よろしくお願いいたします。

Dear citizens of Moriya,

This is Nobuhisa Matsumaru, the Mayor of Moriya.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all citizens for your cooperation in taking measures to prevent COVID-19. Furthermore, I would like to thank all medical institutions for their great cooperation in relation to the COVID-19 vaccinations.

The government of Japan has issued the fourth state of emergency in Tokyo, and the prefectures Saitama, Chiba and Kanagawa were declared as areas where “intensive preventative measures” are applied. In Tokyo, in particular, the infection is spreading and the number of new infections continues to increase, while there is concern about the spread of variants of the virus with a higher infection risk.

In Ibaraki prefecture, the average number of new infections per day was 66.7 people in the past week. According to the prefecture’s own classification system the situation has deteriorated to stage 3, which is the second most serious out of four stages.

In the southern part of the prefecture, which has a lot of traffic to and from Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba and Kanagawa, infections are rapidly increasing. During the four-day holiday period, the total number of new infections in Moriya city amounted to 17 people and the percentage of infected people in their teens and 20s is increasing.

Moriya city has decided to distribute vaccination tickets to citizens aged 15 and 18, who are facing exams and job hunting this year, from July 31st onwards, which is earlier than originally planned.

Also, in addition to vaccinations on an individual basis at medical institutions in the city, we are preparing to open a “mass vaccination” site from August 1st at the Health Center for the purpose of swift an effective vaccination.

Our top priority is the safety of all citizens and we will do our utmost to ensure that all of you can receive the vaccination as soon as possible.

I would like to ask all citizens to continue to observe the basic measures to prevent infections and to take good care of your health. Please act in a way that protects yourselves, your family, your loved ones and our society! Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
