新型コロナウイルス感染症に関する市長メッセージ（11月20日掲載）

市民の皆様、事業者の皆様、医療従事者の皆様には、新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大防止に向けた取り組みについて、多大なるご協力を賜り厚く御礼申し上げます。
　
はじめに、11月8日（日曜）の市長選挙に際しまして、多くの市民の皆様のご支援を賜り、これからの4年間について、再び、守谷市長として市政運営の重責を担わせていただくことになりました。これまで以上に全ての市民の皆様に寄り添う市政の実現にまい進してまいりますので、引き続き、ご理解とご協力を賜りますよう、よろしくお願い申し上げます。
　
現在、新型コロナウイルス感染症につきましては、インフルエンザの流行の時季を前に、感染が再拡大をしております。国内の感染者数は 11月に入り急増し、1日あたりの感染者数も2千人を超え、東京都や神奈川県など首都圏においても、感染者数が過去最多を更新いたしました。県内でも、県南地域を中心に、飲食店や事業所等においてクラスターが発生しており、茨城県は感染状況の多様化と深刻化を踏まえ、コロナ対策指針の警戒レベルを「感染が概ね抑制できている状態」の「ステージ2」から、「感染が拡大している状態」である「ステージ3」に強化をいたしました。
　
皆様には、あらためまして、県が呼び掛けている「いばらきアマビエちゃん」の登録・掲示がされている施設・店舗の利用と、概ね70代を超えるご高齢のかたや基礎疾患をお持ちのかた、妊婦のかたなどは、外出について慎重な対応をお願いいたします。また、事業者の皆様には、業種別ガイドラインを活用した感染防止対策の徹底と「いばらきアマビエちゃん」の登録など、引き続き、感染拡大防止へのご協力をお願いいたします。
　
本市においては、いまのところ、クラスターの発生など急速な感染拡大には至っておりませんが、感染者数は増加傾向が続いております。これから、年末年始にかけて、グループでの会食や外出の機会も増えてまいります。市民の皆様には、引き続き、マスクの着用、手洗い等の基本的な感染防止対策にご協力をお願いするとともに、新型コロナウイルスの感染リスクが高まるとされる「五つの場面」、「飲酒を伴う懇親会」「大人数や長時間の会食」「マスクなしでの会話」「狭い空間での共同生活」「勤務中の居場所の切り替わり」などに十分に警戒をしていただきますよう、お願いいたします。
　
市民の皆様、お一人おひとりの行動が、大切な人を守り、地域を守ることにつながってまいります。市では、今後も市民の皆様が安心して外出いただき、社会経済活動を回復させていくため、全力を挙げて感染拡大の防止に取り組んでまいりますので、ご理解とご協力をお願いいたします。

This is Nobuhisa Matsumaru, the mayor of Moriya.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all citizens of Moriya as well as local businesses operators and medical staff for your great cooperation in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

First of all, thanks to the support of many citizens during the elections held on 8th November, I will once again take on the heavy responsibility of managing the city administration as the mayor of Moriya during the next 4 years.
I will make my utmost effort to realize a city administration that is even closer to all citizens than before and would like to ask for your ongoing understanding and cooperation.

At the moment, the number of COVID-19 infections is again increasing even before the annual influenza season has started.

Since the beginning of November, the number of infections has sharply increased nationwide and the daily number of newly registered infections amounts to over 2000 people. Also, a record high of infections was recorded in the Tokyo metropolitan area, such as Tokyo and Kanagawa prefectures.

In Ibaraki prefecture, clusters are occurring in restaurants and business facilities, especially in the southern part of the prefecture. Due to the complexity and seriousness of the situation, Ibaraki prefecture has raised the COVID-19 alert level from Stage 2 (“Infection is mostly under control”) to stage 3 (“Infection is spreading”).

I would like to ask all of you once again to use stores and facilities that have registered with the COVID-19 contact-tracing system 「Ibaraki Amabie-chan」. Furthermore, elderly people in their 70s or older and those with underlying diseases as well as pregnant women are asked to be particularly careful when going out.

Furthermore, I would like to ask business operators for their continued cooperation by adopting the industry-specific COVID-19 prevention guidelines and registering with「Ibaraki Amabie-chan」.

As of now, there is no rapid spread of the infection caused by an outbreak of clusters in Moriya, but the number of infections continues to increase.

As the New Year season is approaching, opportunities for going out and dining in groups will be increasing.

In addition to continuing to observe the basic COVID-19 prevention measures such as wearing masks and washing hands, I ask all citizens to be especially vigilant in the following five situations, which are said to increase the risk of infection: 1. Social gatherings which involve drinking alcohol 2. Dinners in large groups over a long period of time 3. Talking without wearing a mask 4. Living together in a small space 5. Change of location while working (lunch break, etc.)

The actions of each and every one of you contribute to the protection of your loved ones and the community as a whole.

Moriya city will continue to make every possible effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 so that citizens can go out safely and restore social and economic activities. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
